What we collect: your contact details (name, email, phone, address, suburb), your dogs' details (health, vet, vaccination, behaviour), home-access information you choose to give us, booking history, messages you send us, and — during a walk — the route we take and photos we take of your dog.
Why: solely to provide our services — scheduling visits, caring for your dog safely, contacting you and your vet in an emergency, invoicing, and sending you booking-related emails.
How it's protected: home-access notes (keys, codes, alarms) are stored encrypted and are visible only to your walker. We don't sell or share your information with anyone, except your listed vet in an emergency or where the law requires.
Emails: we send transactional emails only (sign-in links, booking confirmations, visit updates, receipts). We won't send marketing without your consent.
Walk routes and photos: while your dog is out with us we record the walk route on the walker's phone, and we take photos. Both are sent to you after the walk, never live. Photos are visible only to you and to us — signing in is required to view them — and they appear publicly only with your consent (see your portal settings).
Your choices: you can update your details in your portal any time, and you can ask us to correct or delete your information — email info@walksforpaws.com.au.
